Its a good choice if you want to chat with your friends

I really like this app but it needs a lot of improvements!! It takes forever to connect and I have to restart my iPad and/or uninstall the app and then reinstall it just to get it to connect and sometimes my messages wont go through, another thing that happens all the time is I will be offline and it says Im online when Im not, supposedly, they recently did an update on this app to fix the bugs but it takes forever and ever to connect to yahoo messenger, this app still needs a ton of improvements, oh and I like how SHAPE just nonchalantly deleted all of the other review on here for this app

I was excited to find his app because the yahoo messenger app stopped working on my phone but it takes so long to connect (if it even does) that its not even worth it!

I like this app but I am experiencing serious problems with it now since I upgraded to ios 9. Please fix problems asap with an upgrade. Thank you.

I know someone else mentioned this, but the new upgrade has caused this to eat some of my messages and restart as well. Plz fix this soon

My google talk account disconnects multiple times a day. Its extremely annoying.

What is going on since upgrading to iOS 9?!?! Major issues!

Works a lot better than I expected. Miss the buzzer but all in all good

Crashes a lot on original iPad mini (though lots of things crash a lot on the original iPad mini).

Definitely the best instant messenger.

I use it for yahoo messenger and it doesnt connect. Maybe one out of 10 times it will after waiting a few minutes. All log in info is correct. Have reinstalled a few times, etc, with no luck. It has been happening for a month so not a yahoo issue as works fine on the oem program on the computer. Once you navigate away from the app it disconnects you, what is the point!

I do not have any problems with this app, it works just fine and is stable. I am using it with the iPad. When yahoo stopped offering a messenger service I was pretty disappointed as we use yahoo IM for office communication, but this works just as well, so no problem for us!

Switched to IM+ from a better looking client because it seemed more reliable but at least as of now with iOS 9, that isnt the case. It refreshes its sessions constantly, so every hour, I get more IMs that Im connected from other places. Blocking doesnt help. More seriously, when it refreshes, it loses any messages Ive sent or have received. It does queue messages Ive yet to look at properly but after that, its a total crap shoot what my message history will look like, even five minutes after chatting with someone. Makes it hard to have conversations unless you dont close the app or secure your phone.

It deletes conversations when you close the app. It doesnt send messages all the time. Ive contacted them about this with no response back of course. Yahoo messenger doesnt provide many options so I had to go with this one. I paid for it which makes it super frustrating.

Works completely fine for Yahoo messenger, and Google Talk. Can’t complain.

I generally only use IM+ got AIM but the app is becoming more of a liability than an asset when it comes to AIM. First theres an issue where the app freezes when trying to send an audio message for the first time. Another issue involves the random deletion of chat logs. This happens even if background app refresh is turned on and even if you never remove it from the background. The final issue is more with AIM servers not with IM+ but there are still random disconnections from AIM and can take house to reconnect.

I have been using this app for years and recently I can not see any the emojis when using this app.
